The successful candidates will have a BS in engineering, a current Massachusetts professional electrical engineering license, and a minimum of 5 years engineering experience in design and construction of building electrical and fire alarm systems.
Candidates will have a strong work ethic, good verbal, and written communication skills plus strong organizational skills. Expertise required in design of building electrical systems and knowledge of energy conservation strategies.
Major tasks will consist of:
Team leadership, mentoring and primary client contact
Engineering calculations and equipment selection
Research and interpretation of applicable codes and laws
Electrical system design
Renewable energy system analysis and design
Feasibility analysis including facility master plan reporting
Analysis and reporting of engineering for sustainable design options
Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
Communication with clients, vendors, and contractors
On-site inspection of construction
Marketing
